Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of ColorfulEmail ("the Service"). By requesting an invite or connecting your account, you agree to them. The Service is currently in a private, invite-only beta.

1. The Service

ColorfulEmail connects to your Google account, with your permission, to triage your Gmail and extract structured data into Google Sheets. Features may change during beta. The Service applies labels, files messages, and creates drafts; it does not send mail on your behalf without your action, and it cannot permanently delete your email.

2. Beta status

The Service is provided during beta on an "as is" and "as available" basis. It may be unstable, incomplete, or interrupted. We may add, change, or remove features, or end the beta, at any time.

3. Your account and responsibilities

• You must own, or be authorized to connect, the Google account you link.
• You are responsible for the configurations you create, including which data is extracted and into which spreadsheets.
• You must not use the Service unlawfully or to process data you have no right to process.

4. Privacy

Our handling of your data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: your email is sorted and extracted by an offline AI on infrastructure we control and never sent to a third-party AI provider, and we do not store copies of your mailbox.

5. Pricing

The beta is currently free. We may introduce paid plans in the future; if we do, we will give connected users notice before any charge applies.

6. Intellectual property

We retain all rights in the Service. You retain all rights in your data and the spreadsheets you produce.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Automated triage and extraction can make mistakes; you are responsible for reviewing important results. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses exceeding any amount you have paid us in the prior twelve months.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and revoke access at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are breached or if necessary to protect the Service or other users. On termination we delete your stored data as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and will revise the date above. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
